THE PRACTICE NO LONGER HAS A REPEAT PRESCRIPTION PHONE LINE. THIS IS DUE TO THE INCREASING DEMAND BEING PLACED ON GENERAL PRACTICE AND THE NEED TO STREAMLINE SERVICES. ALL OTHER WAYS OF ORDERING REPEAT MEDICATION REMAIN UNCHANGED. IF YOU DO NOT HAVE ACCESS TO EMAILING OR ON-LINE SERVICES OR ARE UNABLE TO COME INTO THE SURGERY, PATIENTS CAN ASK THEIR CHOSEN PHARMACY TO PLACE THEIR ORDERS WITH THE SURGERY. YOUR PHARMACY CAN ALSO COLLECT AND DELIVER YOUR MEDICATION IF REQUIRED.
THE PRACTICE NOW REQUIRES 48HRS TO PRODUCE REGULAR REPEAT MEDICATION. THE SURGERY HAS ALWAYS TRIED TO PRODUCE PRESCRIPTION REQUESTS WITHIN A 24HR TURNAROUND, BUT THIS SERVICE WAS TOO DIFFICULT TO SUSTAIN DUE TO THE CHANGES WE ARE FACING WITHIN THE NHS AND PATIENTS NOT ORDERING THEIR PRESCRIPTIONS IN TIME. ANY URGENT PRESCRIPTION REQUESTS WILL BE DEALT WITH ACCORDINGLY BY THE DOCTOR BUT WHERE POSSIBLE WE ASK THAT YOUR ROUTINE MONTHLY PRESCRIPTIONS ARE ORDERED IN PLENTY OF TIME, BEFORE RUNNING OUT OF YOUR MEDICATION. IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE PATIENT TO MAKE SURE THEY HAVE ENOUGH MEDICATION AND ORDER IN PLENTY OF TIME.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THE PRESCRIPTION EMAIL ADDRESS HAS CHANGED, SEE BELOW:-
